Reddit Account Manager

A full-service Reddit agency is hiring an Account Manager to own day-to-day execution and client relationships across a portfolio of up to 10 brand accounts. Clients range from Fortune 100 companies to high-growth DTC brands across CPG, B2B, healthcare, finance, and dozens of other verticals. This is a client-facing role for someone who already runs relationships solo and genuinely understands Reddit.

All open roles

This is the only agency built entirely around Reddit. Not an agency with a Reddit practice, and not a social shop that added it to the deck. Reddit is the whole business, covering organic engagement, paid advertising, and AI and LLM visibility, backed by proprietary software that powers content generation, intent scoring, and brand monitoring at scale. They are a top-tier Reddit Ads partner. You would own up to 10 client accounts as the sole point of contact, running both organic campaigns and paid advertising. The role sits between strategy and execution, working directly with clients on approvals and reporting while coordinating content production. You would report to the Director of Strategy. One part of the job barely exists anywhere else yet. You would track how client content surfaces in AI search, covering Google-indexed Reddit threads and citations in ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity. Reddit is now one of the most cited sources in those tools, which makes Reddit presence a direct input into how AI describes a brand.

What you'll own

  • A portfolio of up to 10 client accounts as the sole point of contact, covering weekly content approvals, reporting, strategic recommendations, and all client-facing communication
  • Weekly organic content production including reply batches, syndicated posts, cultural posts, and AMA coordination
  • QA on all content before client review, checking tone accuracy, factual correctness, subreddit compliance, and client-specific rules
  • Reddit paid ad campaigns end to end, including audience targeting, bid strategy, creative testing, and ROAS reporting
  • Brand mention, sentiment, and competitor monitoring, surfacing actionable insights through weekly client reports
  • SEO and GEO visibility tracking across Google-indexed Reddit threads and AI citations
  • Client onboarding materials including subreddit research, brand voice documentation, and content calendars

What we're looking for

This is not a behind-the-scenes role. You will be on weekly calls, presenting reports, and managing all ten relationships independently.

  • 3 to 5 years in digital marketing, social media management, or account management at an agency, with direct solo client management experience
  • Active Reddit user with a personal account history showing genuine community participation. You understand subreddit culture, moderation dynamics, karma mechanics, and why Reddit punishes anything that reads like marketing
  • Hands-on paid social experience. Reddit Ads strongly preferred, though Meta, TikTok, or Google Ads works if paired with strong Reddit platform knowledge
  • Working knowledge of SEO fundamentals and how Reddit content ranks in Google. Familiarity with GEO and AEO is a plus
  • Experience with social listening and brand monitoring tools
  • Strong written communication. You can write in a brand voice that feels native to Reddit without sounding like a press release
  • Highly organized, comfortable running multiple accounts against competing deadlines, with a bias toward documentation and process

Nice to have

  • Experience moderating a subreddit, or active participation in niche communities relevant to DTC, ecommerce, or consumer brands
  • Background in branding, content strategy, or PR at an agency
  • Familiarity with Reddit's API (PRAW) or automation tools for content workflows
  • Experience with AI-powered content tools or prompt engineering for marketing
  • Existing relationships with Reddit's ads team, or experience as a Reddit Ads partner

Compensation

Fully remote, flexible PTO, and a chance to shape the playbook for a marketing category that is roughly where social media marketing was ten years ago.
