We are looking for a versatile professional who can seamlessly combine marketing operations expertise with high‑level executive assistant skills. In this hybrid role, you will serve as a central support partner to the CEO, with roughly 60% of your focus on driving marketing initiatives—personal brand growth, content creation, and market testing for new business concepts—and 40% dedicated to executive support, operational efficiency, and system building.
Core Responsibilities
1. Marketing Operations & Personal Brand Management (60%)
Content Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement a comprehensive personal brand strategy across platforms such as X (Twitter), YouTube, podcasts, and email newsletters.
- Create high‑quality, long‑form video and written content, including serialized campaigns.
- Build and manage a scalable, repeatable content distribution system.
- Secure PR opportunities, podcast guest spots, and newsletter features to increase visibility.
- Share the company’s journey openly through a “build in public” approach.
Business Concept Testing & Validation
- Lead “Painted Door” testing—designing and launching mock brands, websites, and campaigns to validate market demand.
- Independently run paid media campaigns, outbound email sequences, and measure performance metrics.
- Utilize AI marketing tools (e.g., automated website builders, generative design software, and AI‑driven outreach platforms) for rapid iteration.
- Conduct market research, assess competitive landscapes, and identify high‑potential niche opportunities.
- Network with industry leaders, potential partners, and executives to refine new business concepts.
2. Executive Assistant & Operational Support (40%)
Administrative & Calendar Management
- Manage the CEO’s calendar, coordinate meetings, and handle all related logistics.
- Oversee email and LinkedIn inboxes, triaging opportunities and ensuring quick follow‑up on leads.
- Implement automated systems to streamline scheduling and inbox organization.
Operational Documentation & Process Management
- Develop SOPs, reusable templates, and instructional videos to document company processes.
- Maintain an organized, accessible repository for operational workflows.
Forecasting & Financial Tracking
- Support leadership teams by creating and updating financial forecasts and performance dashboards in Google Sheets or Excel.
- Manage operational documentation for compensation plans, quarterly updates, and other key processes.
Portfolio & Project Support
- Attend leadership meetings, track action items, and manage follow‑ups.
- Provide administrative and lead‑generation support to portfolio companies and internal teams.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in marketing operations, content creation, or a related role—preferably in startups or high‑growth businesses.
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing channels, including paid ads, social media management, podcasting, and email newsletters.
- Proficiency with AI‑powered tools for marketing, branding, and operational efficiency.
- Highly organized, with the ability to independently design and manage operational systems.
- Strong analytical skills, capable of creating and interpreting forecasts and performance reports.
- Excellent communication skills and professional presence for high‑level interactions.
Ideal Candidate
- A marketing‑savvy generalist with operational discipline.
- Tech‑forward and fluent in AI‑driven marketing tools.
- Comfortable working independently in fast‑moving, ambiguous environments.
- Balanced between strategic thinking and hands‑on execution.
- Experienced in supporting executives while driving measurable marketing impact.
